The five measurement tools work the same way as in the Asset workspace. The volume icon in the reference image is currently restricted to administrators, including when viewing a project. See Asset Measure Tools for what each one does.

Saved with the project

Unlike measurements taken on an asset, measurements in a project are saved as annotations and stay with the project. Anyone viewing the project can see them, and you can organize them in the Annotation Manager.
